The next priorities Racing must have

Far from correcting the weaknesses, the weakest places of the team, the last transfer market deepened the weaknesses of Racing in some substantial roles in football. His spine is fragile. It starts well at the base, at the bottom, but begins a decline in the middle that extends further on. That inexorably affects the creative, offensive and, consequently, scoring anemia.

Racing must mark as next priorities the attempts to reinforce with a five, a creative midfielder and a 9. In the center of the field he does not have a natural midfielder with presence, who provides containment and guarantees a good pulse in the distribution. The last one to do that was Marcelo Díaz, until he got injured and then left. The Academy looked for Ezequiel Piovi and Pablo Galdames, but neither of them arrived.

Then, Mauricio Martínez, Aníbal Moreno, Leonel Miranda and Julián López remained. None of them are brand cut or contributed to the development of the game from behind. Caramelo played little there and gave no guarantees, Moreno and Miranda do not feel the move, beyond the fact that the former has improved in recent games. Lolo does not mark or weigh in the pregnancy. Juli is clearly a driving 5 that, with the last four technicians, could never win a place … Without Chelo Díaz, positional and with an order that allows him to recover balls, Racing requires a hierarchy midfielder in that sector of the field .

Licha López, the best point guard in Racing

In the football assembly, if the Licha López hooked version is not there, Racing turns off. It is dark, without lights to illuminate a destination. There is no other thinking player who puts goal balls, pauses, orients the attacks, hits with an arc or takes an opponent off of him. Matías Rojas does not take off despite some threats, Piatti is in the twilight of his career and Lovera can be more destabilizing in one-on-one than a game point guard. Except in the classic with Boca, who was encouraged a little more to face and seek to associate, his in the general balance was very poor in offense.

Go ahead, Javier Correa so far has not shown to be a 9 at the level of the Academy. With the mitigating factor that the ball reaches him little, he lacks mobility, holds the few balls he receives longer and unloads with greater precision. It is difficult for him to generate dangerous actions, duels win a lot and he does not finish the plays well. Licha and Cvitanich, due to their age, are no longer productive in the area colliding with the centrals, Copetti had started well from 9 and then he was losing firepower, with obvious technical limitations, much more when they start from further back. A 5, a playmaker, and a finisher. Priorities appear sharp.
