San Juan, Aug 31 (EFE) .- The National Superior Basketball (BSN), the main league of Puerto Rico, reported this Tuesday that after receiving a confirmation of positive cases for covid-19 in the Bayamón Vaqueros, it postponed the match of this Wednesday against the Ponce Lions.
“The Bayamón Vaqueros are in the monitoring phase after receiving confirmation last Wednesday of positive cases for COVID-19,” the BSN said in a press release.
The BSN also postponed the meeting yesterday, Monday, between the Cowboys and the Carolina Giants for the same reason.
The League, in turn, assured that it continues its 2021 season complying with health protocols, which requires compliance with “sanitary” administrative orders to enter the coliseums.
Likewise, it exhorts fans to continue supporting their teams in a safe way and complying with “health” measures, including the use of a mask, the statement added.
