Senegalese pivot Youssoupha Fall has been loaned for the 2021-2022 season to Lyon-Villeurbanne by his Spanish club Vitoria, Asvel announced on Monday August 16. A native of Dakar, the 26-year-old pivot was trained at Le Mans, with whom he won the French championship in 2018. Transferred the same year to Vitoria, he played a season on loan at Strasbourg before joining for good the Pays Basque. “Spanish champion in 2020, Youssoupha Fall has participated in 60 Euroleague matches in the last two seasons,” said Tony Parker’s club, fourteenth in the last edition of this European league.
