In the final, the match was very close with many sets tied against his opponent Brice Barbes Kiener from the Saint-Martin-de-Crau club. Gabriel Corrand won on the very last end. Valérie Gaborit, president of the Charente-Maritime departmental archery committee, congratulated a “very nice reward” and “the Charente-Maritime archers who mobilized for this competition despite a difficult health context”.

The new champion is delighted with his victory but is already preparing for his new goal: “I want to come back to training at the end of August to be even stronger.
