After the unfortunate events that left people injured and captured, another reprehensible event was known in the last hours, after Cristian Henao, president of the Risaraldense Boxing League, denounced on Blu Radio that the delegation of children and young people who had just arrived To the capital of the country to participate in a competition, she was robbed with a machete by fans of Santa Fe, prior to entering the hotel.

“A group of 25 young people from Santa Fe, as soon as they realized that we got out of the taxi to enter the hotel, they came at us with a machete. Our suitcases, gloves and presentation clothes were raided. For having the Risaralda department shirt, which is green with white, they began to attack us, ”he said.

And he added: “At 10:30 at night it happened and at that same time we had to take several athletes to the clinic because they received two machetes to the head and another to the lower extremity of their body. The other 12-year-olds received machete blows to their legs ”.

Henao assured that the children were rushed to the hospital and that they are already recovering. He also emphasized that the athletes were left without their implements, which they need to recover.

“They don’t have clothes, tennis, gloves, they lost everything.
