Spanish football club Real Madrid has made an impressive € 220 million offer to France’s richest club, Saint-Germain in Paris, for Parisian star Kilian Mbape, citing journalist Mario Cortegan, according to Goal. PSG is still thinking about what to do and the answer has not yet been given.

In France, the transition window closes today, and PSG has a few hours to accept or decline Real’s last-minute offer. If the French team agrees, it will be the second largest transition in the history of football, as the record belongs to the same team, which bought Neimara in 2017 for 222 million from Barcelona.

The director of PSG has already confirmed Leonard that he wants to leave PSG in Mbape. However, he called Real’s efforts to get the player a tactical match, as the initial offer from the Madrid grant was around 160 million, which PSG management said was not enough, as 180 million was once bought from Monaco in Mbape. Leonard admitted that Real is simply testing PSG’s patience and is deliberately waiting for a refusal, after which it can be said that everything was done this year to get the footballer, but next year he could be attracted for free, because in 2022 the contract in Mbape will be signed.

Leonardu also emphasized that the PSG line-up has already been completed, but “Real” is trying to thwart the intentions of the French club at the last minute. Mbape also previously rejected two new contract offers from PSG, giving up a salary that, according to Leonard, was one of the largest or even larger in the club. This season, the striker has scored three goals and two assists in four games in the French Championship.
