It’s the big comeback of professional baseball at Quillorama Stadium as Team Quebec will play its first series in Trois-Rivières of the season against its division rivals, the ValleyCats of Tri-City. The three parts will be presented on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.
Trois-Rivières fans will finally be able to reconnect with professional baseball after nearly two years of waiting. The stadium gates will open at 5 p.m. They will have the chance to attend a frenzied end-of-year playoff race with three teams.
In fact, Team Quebec is only one game away from Tri-City, while the New York Boulders are two games from the lead. Note that only teams that finish first in their division will advance to the playoffs.
The supporters of the old capital were the first to see the representatives of Quebec in action. Indeed, the Stade Canac in Quebec hosted the first home series of Team Quebec, which faced its New York rivals for the occasion.
The fleurdelisé managed an excellent introduction as he won the first game by a score of 10 to 8. The Quebec team however lost in the last two games of the series (4 to 2 and 7 to 6 ).
