Cluj-Napoca – Andrea Petkovic has reached the quarter-finals at the women’s tennis tournament in Cluj-Napoca. The 33-year-old from Darmstadt won 6: 4, 6: 3 against the Romanian Jacqueline Cristian, who is ranked 149th in the world.
Petkovic is number two at the WTA event. The former top ten player, 91st in the world rankings, is now back in the top 100. The clay court tournament in Cluj-Napoca is endowed with a good 235,000 dollars.
