The goalkeeper Omar Echeverría, the pride of Tulum, will be the one who represents Mexico in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. He will seek the gold medal in the major category of compound bow.

Omar Echeverria is training at the Playa del Carmen facilities, fine-tuning his aim under the direction of his coach Hilda Martell, working with the mentality of winning a medal for Mexico on behalf of Quintana Roo.

Omar Echeverría’s other great dream is to open an archery school in Tulum and continue working as an artisan, as he has been doing for 20 years.

The project of the future archery sports school was adopted by Álvaro Moya General Director of Tulum Country Club “for all of us who are part of Tulum Country Club it is a pride to be able to support Omar, since he is an example of life, of improvement and pride for Tulum, which inspires us all to continue with discipline and work. On the other hand, it gives us the opportunity to support Mexican talent and great athletes from our community “

The director of the residential complex commented on the importance of promoting sport among young people, offering them the opportunity to develop and grow as athletes in different disciplines and inspire them so that, in the not too distant future, as Omar Echeverria they can represent Tulum, and Quintana Roo nationally, and one day compete on behalf of Mexico internationally.

“As part of Grupo Piñero we are aware that we have the responsibility to contribute to the development of the communities where we operate, beyond our business work. For this reason, we carry out actions and participate voluntarily in social initiatives aligned with our values ”stressed Álvaro Moya, General Director of Tulum Country Club.
