Turkey’s mixed wheelchair archery team of Öznur Cüre and Bülent Korkmaz won the silver medal by losing to Chinese pair Yueshan Lin-Zihao He 153-152 finally.
This silver medal is the first won by the Turkish delegation at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, but also the country’s first in the archery category since the beginning of the history of the Games.
Russia finished third after their victory over Iran in the bronze medal game.
