Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero, from Internacional, was involved in a traffic accident on Wednesday from which he was unharmed and that left two slightly injured, reported official sources.
The accident took place in the Vila Nova neighborhood, in the southern area of Porto Alegre, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, when the scorer’s vehicle, A Porsche Panamera, collided with another car circulating on the same road.

Guerrero, 37, did not suffer any type of damage, while the two people who were in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and, therefore, they were taken to a hospital from the region to receive medical attention, according to the Porto Alegre Police.
El Internacional, a club where Guerrero has been active since 2018, reported in a note that his forward’s vehicle “was hit by another car that lost control and invaded the opposite lane.”

The captain of the Peruvian team “is fine and was released from the premises after the arrival of the authorities and once the proper records of the accident had been made,” said the Colorado club.
According to his press office, quoted by the local press, Guerrero also provided relief to the occupants of the other car.

The former Flamengo and Corinthians player trained on Wednesday morning with the rest of his Inter teammates, with a view to next Sunday’s match at Santos’ home, for the seventeenth day of the Brazilian Championship.
