Olympic Games> Nadal (about Djokovic’s racket throw): “Fortunately there was no one in the stands”

Rafael Nadal was questioned by the EFE news agency about the bronze medal of his compatriot Pablo Carreno Busta. He also took the opportunity to speak about Novak Djokovic’s excesses during this match, in particular his racket throw in the stands: “Fortunately there was no one in the stands and nothing else happened, but hey, these are things that happen from time to time”, explained the Spaniard, who felt that it was necessary “to try to avoid them”.

It is recalled that Rafael Nadal has never broken a racket in his career on the court and that his mood movements are very rare. It is therefore easy to understand that he is a little “shocked” by the attitude of the Serbian, especially at the Olympic Games, a global event where the champion must have an exemplary attitude, especially as world number 1.
