New Orleans Saints star Michael Thomas is set to miss the start of next season after having ankle surgery, informant Ian Rapoport reports.
The receiver will thus be absent for several weeks of activities, given that his rehabilitation should be four months.
Thomas was limited to seven games last season, catching 40 passes for 438 yards and no touchdowns.
The year before, he had dominated the National Football League with 149 catches for 1,725 yards and 9 touchdowns.
