Stating that sports fields were built in accordance with the standards determined with the protocol signed with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, President Cengiz said, “International quality materials suitable for the health of the youth of our district and suitable for comfortable sports were used in the Schools Area Campus Area. 1 layer of primary lining in the areas of Volleyball, Basketball and Tennis Courts. We built a sports field at international standards by covering it with 5 layers of acrylic flooring, 2 layers of recurfacer, 2 layers of acrylic flooring. Again in the same area, we turned our two idle indoor fields into a comfortable football field by covering them with artificial turf. We have renewed the football field, especially the ground, side fence and top net of Imamhatip Secondary School, which is quite old and needs to be renewed in our district center. Semi-Olympic swimming pool on the way
Expressing that the investment in youth and children will continue to increase, President Cengiz said, “One of the shortcomings of our district, which I emphasized and always wanted to be, was the swimming pool. As a result of our initiatives, we signed the protocol with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the previous days. An allowance was made for the Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool. “The ground survey work on the area where the swimming pool will sit has been completed recently. After calculating the approximate cost, we aim to complete the tender process and hit the first digging as soon as possible. İvrindi will continue to receive the sports facilities and investments it deserves,” he said.
