According to Adrian Wojnarowski ofESPNLaMarcus Aldridge is reportedly seriously considering making a return to the NBA this season after seeing a doctor.
Aldridge, 36, announced his retirement in April due to a heart problem.
As Wojnarowski explains, the 15-year NBA veteran will need the green light from a team’s medics to sign a contract. Aldridge has yet to make a final decision on returning to the game and he is expected to have conversations with various teams in the coming weeks.
Aldridge has appeared in seven All-Star games during his career. He wore the colors of the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs and, briefly last year, the Brooklyn Nets.
He averaged 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game with the Spurs and Nets last season.
