Mourning between associations: Enrichetta Titton died, made softball known

BAGNARIA ARSACastions delle Mura, with the death of Enrichetta Titton, 82, loses one of the pillars of the community. With her the world of sport says goodbye to a piece of history. Born in the Roma Village, in Torviscosa, after her wedding with Renzo Marinigh she moved to Castions delle Mura in Bagnaria Arsa, but continued to work in a company in her hometown until retirement. Sports manager, present in parish activities and associations, she was a dynamic woman, one step ahead of the others, with discretion and elegance.

«Enrichetta – recalls Deputy Mayor Elisa Pizzamiglio – was a pillar of the community contributing to its social, cultural and sporting growth. Very intelligent, ironic and straightforward ». He had been part of the Castions choir for years, he knew the Friulian and modern repertoire.

«Strongly attached to the past, but open to new things – she continues -, she was a modern woman, at the forefront of the times. We will miss that ever-present smile, his dedication and that making himself available in a spontaneous and generous way ».

Enrichetta was one of the founders of the local baseball and then softball company in 1981. The president of the Softball Friul 81 association, Morena Bertoldi, recounts those years: «Enrichetta was the founder of the Baseball Europa company, later creating Softball Friul 81, of which she was vice president until February, and now in the board. He was very smart, he knew how to find a solution for everything, always proactive. Passionate about history, she was the keeper of many stories and documented the life of the community ». The funeral of Enrichetta, who leaves Renzo and her children Roberta and Gianni in her husband, took place yesterday in Castions delle Mura.
