Terrible news for ex-national team captain Michael Ballack (44).
His 18-year-old son Emilio was killed in a quad bike accident. It was first reported by the Portuguese media.
Emilio was one of three sons from the marriage of Michael and his former wife Simone. Louis is 19 and Jordi is 16 years old.
According to the Portuguese television broadcaster TVI24, the drama took place in the night from Wednesday to Thursday around 2:10 a.m. in Troia, south of Lisbon. The family owns a property there. The peninsula is a celebrity paradise, and star trainer José Mourinho also owns a property there.
