Lionel Messi will most likely debut in Ligue 1 in the match against Reims Vs PSG
jpnn.com, PARIS – Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has revealed his reasons for refusing to swap jerseys with the Reims players.
In his debut match with Paris Saint-Germain, the 34-year-old played in the 66th minute replacing Neymar.
Messi didn’t seem to have had a big impact on the Les Parisiens squad – PSG’s nickname – in that match.
According to Squawka, the former Barcelona player only made 21 passes during the game.
Even so, Messi’s debut in PSG’s uniform still makes many people happy.
Even the opposing player, namely Reims defender Andrew Gravillon, was amazed when he was on the same field with the six-time Ballon d’Or winner.
According to him, he is happy because so far he has only been able to see the megastar competing from the small screen.
“He (Messi, red) is very impressive. Last year we could only watch him play in the Champions League. Now we are on the same field with him,” said Gravillon quoted from Inside Sport.
