Lézat-sur-Lèze. Basketball: the Lézatois Poppy polishes its cohesion

As every summer for several years now, the Lézatois Poppy has organized its internship club for licensees aged 7 to 17 years old. This course, in Meschers-sur-Gironde, aims to bring together the children and their teams before the start of the season. In addition to intensive training supervised by qualified coaches, the children were able to enjoy the ocean with beautiful afternoons on the beach. A new success for the Lézatois Poppy with this course which perpetuates the values defended by this club: family, benevolence and cohesion.

A big thank you to the staff present during this week: Séverine Perpina, Sébastien Subra, Philippe Balança, Marc Barbero and Michel Pedoussaut. Let us not forget also the internship of the senior boys. The season has started. As for several years now, the season starts with the traditional cohesion course in Argein, in the Ariège Couserans. Beyond the good humor and the spirit of camaraderie which reign on this type of weekend, the senior boys were especially able to gauge themselves physically thanks to the program concocted by the staff of the team. Hiking, orienteering, Sébastien Subra’s charges suffered, but as a team! Auspicious moments of mutual aid in the face of the long season that awaits them. Sébastien Subra, coach, underlined that this “quality group has agreed to make all the efforts required in various fields of competence. The atmosphere was healthy and the group demonstrated qualities of solidarity, mutual aid … The foundations have been laid but everything remains to be done. It is through hard work and the will to serve a common project that this team will be able to hope to achieve great things this year “!

The Lézatois Poppy hopes its many supporters from Saturday, October 2 at the Pedoussaut gymnasium, in Lézat!
