L’Equipe reports: PSG signs Eduardo Camavinga for 30 million! – Soccer

The Paris Saint-Germain shopping tour continues! As reported by L’Equipe, the transfer of Eduardo Camavinga (18) from Stade Rennes is as good as perfect. The 1-0 win over Nantes on Sunday could have been their last game for the Brittany club.

Paris is stepping up – and this time the change actually costs something. PSG should put 30 million euros on the table for the attacking midfielder. After ex-BVB star Achraf Hakimi (came from Inter Milan for 60 million), Camavinga is only the second player for whom the capital club pays a transfer this summer. All other new additions were added to the shopping cart for free.

Still, it’s a good deal for PSG. Originally, his club wanted to achieve a € 100 million transfer fee for the French international (contract until 2022). In times of pandemics, when the money is no longer so loose, had to say goodbye to this wish quickly.

Camavinga is considered to be one of the greatest talents in Europe on his position. Recently, however, his performance stagnated, often he was only a substitute.

The young star has long been an issue at numerous top clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester United. He also played a role in personnel planning at FC Bayern from time to time. According to SPORT BILD information, Camavinga was part of a so-called “shadow team”.

Since Hasan Salihamidzic has been running the transfer business at Bayern, the Munich team has been working with such teams. A list of players who are of interest to the master is created for each position.

Most recently, Real Madrid were actually considered the favorite to sign, but now PSG is likely to make the race. Another building block in the Parisian star ensemble for the Sheikh Club’s great goal of finally winning the Champions League.
