Huayou Xueyan shocked Bibo Women’s Boxing Valley to enter the finals
Although the Chinese sports delegation did not have a gold medal in the account today, it performed well in synchronized swimming, table tennis and boxing competitions.
In the synchronized swimming double free optional competition, the Chinese combination Huang Xuechen/Sun Wenyan showed their own characteristics and finally ranked second. Women’s basketball started the quarter-final competition that day. The Chinese team lost 70-77 to the experienced European champion Serbia team and missed the semi-finals. The other three teams that have advanced to the top four women’s basketball teams are the United States, Japan and France.

The women’s golf tournament at the Tokyo Olympics kicked off in Saitama Prefecture. Rio Olympic bronze medalist Feng Shanshan surrendered a three-under-par (74) score and tied for 47th.
