Hello Everyone,
My name is Christopher Aguirre but everyone just calls me Chris. I am 13 years old and currently in the 8th grade at James Coble Middle School. I will be attending Timberview High school in the fall of 2022 and I will be in the graduating class of 2026. I am a young baseball player who a has been given an amazing opportunity. I have been invited/pre-approved to participate in the Perfect Game 2021 14U Lonestar Showcase in Hurst, TX on November 6th and 7th of this year. Many of the top 14U and 13U players from across the country are expected to be in attendance this year. I feel this event would allow me to the opportunity to showcase my skills and gain the exposure to further my baseball career. This event has several possible benefits such as national exposure, social media, rankings and college commitments/MLB draft. The cost of this event is $650. My goal is to raise $975 to cover the $650 registration fee and the $325 skill show video package. My goal is to get sponsored for this event. However I am willing to do side jobs for family and friends to help me with raising the funds. I am personally asking you to read this letter and consider sponsoring me along my journey.
Most of you know me personally but if not let me tell you a little bit about myself. I live at home with both my mom and dad. I have an older brother, a little sister, and two dogs. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. At first I had no idea what baseball was. I had no idea what I was doing out there on the field. It wasn’t until I was 6 years old when everything just clicked. Ever since then baseball has been my life. I currently play for the 817 organization and belong to the 817 Sports Patriots team. I have worked so hard to become the baseball player that I am today. I would like to pursue my talents in the game that I love and would like the opportunity to get recognized for my talents.
I will be given the opportunity to compete against the best of the best and challenge my skills. Along my journey I hope to meet many coaches and take away any advise and or tips they give me. I also hope to meet and make new friends who share this same journey. Not only will this be a great experience for me it also allows me to become more knowledgeable.
