Ranked 3rd in the world ranking, Helios Latchoumanaya came to prepare for the Paralympic Games at Stado Judo.

Helios Latchoumanaya, representative of France at the Tokyo Paralympic Games (August 24 to September 5, 2021), came to Stado Judo, his training club, as part of its preparation.

Last week, a wind of Olympism was blowing in the dojo of the Stadoceste Tarbais Pyrénées Arts Martiaux. The Tarbais club welcomed Helios Latchoumanaya, member of the France Parajudo team.

Trained within the club, the French fighter, now licensed in Bourg-La-Reine (Hauts-de-Seine), will be the representative of France at the Tokyo Paralympic Games in the -90 Kg category.

As part of his preparation, Hélios wanted to come and do an internship at his former club. Accompanied by his coach, the former Olympic champion Cathy Fleury, he was able to work for three days with members of Stado Judo for the Olympic tournament.

An enriching experience for everyone, which would not have been possible without the support of the departmental judo committee and the town hall of Tarbes.

Currently 3th in the world rankings in his category, Helios Latchoumanaya has a good chance of bringing home a medal from Tokyo. He will have whatever happens all the support of the members of Stadoceste Tarbais Pyrénées Martial Arts who will follow his fights with enthusiasm.
