The Ravachol Pontevedra Badminton Club returned to competition last weekend. Georgina Bland played a Senior Gold in the English town of Milton Keynes. It is a tournament of the highest category in the British country in which the player from the Pontevedra team took victory in the individual female modality after defeating all her rivals without giving up a single set.
Already renewed and eager to return to Spain to begin her second season in the Division of Honor, Gina is now focused on her next goal, the national championship of England, which will be held on August 21 and 22 in the same town.
After the national runner-up obtained in 2018 and 2019, and her absence due to injury in 2020, the English player from Ravachol Pontevedra will seek her first national title before returning to Spain to continue her career in the Division of Honor.
The Pontevedra club is immersed in the planning of the next season, for which it has already confirmed the renewals of Manuel Brea, Gabriel Fernández and Ana Carbón, as well as Gerogina Bland herself, which was the first renewal to be announced. In addition, Ravachol closed its first signing for the next season, that of the young promise Jacobo Fernández.
