France-Bosnia: towards a 4-3-3 with Lemar and Koundé holders

After the 3-5-2 fiasco in Bucharest in the round of 16 of the Euro against Switzerland (3-3 ap, 4-5 on the tabs), the France team should return to 4-3-3 on Wednesday at the Meinau stadium against Bosnia (8:45 p.m.). In the cage, Hugo Lloris will honor his 130th selection. Behind, Varane and Kimpembe will form the central hinge. As in the third group match of the Euro against Portugal, it is Jules Koundé who should start on the right rather than Léo Dubois. On the left, Lucas Digne will compensate for the absence of Lucas Hernandez.

In the middle, the Blues will do without N’Golo Kanté. In a pre-match press conference, Didier Deschamps announced the withdrawal of his player replaced this Saturday with his Chelsea club against Liverpool, due to ankle pain and a little inflammation. Corentin Tolisso will recover the sentry post. At his side, Paul Pogba will evolve on the right and Thomas Lemar holds the rope to complete the midfield.

The former Monegasque, who took part in Atlético de Madrid’s first three games in La Liga, was in the supposed starting squad during the last tactical set-up made at La Meinau, which suggests that he will start the encounter. Finally, we will find in attack the same trio as in the Euro, with undoubtedly an Antoine Griezmann slightly eccentric to the right. Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappé will be the other offensive assets of the French team.

The probable composition of the Blues: Lloris (cap.) – Koundé, Varane, Kimpembe, Digne – Tolisso, Pogba, Lemar – Griezmann, Benzema, Mbappé.
