Florentino Pérez denies that Messi’s departure is part of his plan

BarcelonaFollowing the accusation of Jaume Llopis, a former member of the Espai Barça commission, Florentino Pérez has issued a statement in his defense. Llopis hinted that Messi’s departure to Paris directly favored Real Madrid, as the Argentine’s arrival at the Parc des Princes would bring Mbappé closer to the Santiago Bernabéu, one of Pérez’s obsessions. “Between the Barça CEO and Florentino, they convince Laporta to fire Messi,” said Llopis. The defense of the white president comes in the middle of the fierce war between the club of Chamartín and Javier Tebas, with the RFEF in the middle.

In the official statement of Florentino Pérez, the white president denies having any relationship with the CEO of Barça, Ferran Reverter, and says that he has agreed with him only twice. According to Pérez, he saw Reverter for the first time four months ago and the second was this Saturday, and as the Super League promoter claims, he was with President Joan Laporta and President Andrea Agnelli (Juventus), when he was already he had produced the official statement on Messi ”.

With this argument, the Madrid president defends that you really can not think that he had anything to do with the move of Messi. “It is impossible that I have had any influence on the departure of Messi or any other decision of FC Barcelona.” At the end of the statement, Pérez asks Llopis to take a step back in his accusation. “I hope that Jaume Llopis will rectify these statements as soon as possible.”

The show of Thebes

Few know that Gary Hoffman is the president of the Premier League, or that Nathalie Boy de la Tour leads the French league. Javier Tebas, on the other hand, is popularly known for his outbursts and club challenges rather than anything else. In particular, the president of the LFP stands out for his activity on Twitter, a social network in which he tends to leave his opinion. This time, a new assault in the fight between Tebas and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

The RFEF has issued a statement in which it is totally against the agreement between the League and CVC. From the RFEF consider that the agreement “increases inequality” and at the same time “forgets the clubs that play non-professional competitions.” From the Federation they are clear that the agreement would indebt the clubs with usurious conditions.

How could it be otherwise, Tebas has responded to the RFEF from his Twitter. The president of the League has ironically commented that the Federation did not issue any statement against the Superliga, which, according to Tebas, “liquidated Spanish football”. Tebas remarks that, on the other hand, those of the RFEF “do not fail” to attack the League.

And in his personal show Tebas has also had some characters for Florentino Pérez, after the statement on the Jaume Llopis case. Tebas has denounced the white president’s “threatening method” and ended up saying with contempt that “Real Madrid deserves more”.
