With a 2-1 win, Jannik Sinner and Reilly Opelka secured the title at the doubles tournament in Atlanta. It is the first doubles title for the South Tyrolean at ATP level.

Round after round, Sinner and the American fought on before the duo Steve Johnson / Jordan Thompson waited in the final. The American-Australian combo was defeated by Sinner / Opelka 2: 1 (6: 4, 6: 7/6: 8, 10: 3).

After a leisurely start, Sinner and his partner got the first break in the game. Although their opponents succeeded in the rebreak to 3: 3, but when the Sesto and the American turned another break ball at 4: 4, the first set was secured. Another picture developed in the second movement. Both teams managed a break, so the set win was decided in the tie-break – with a better outcome for Johnson / Thompson.
