Outside the cabin, four “Phantom 2000” fighter jets personally designated by President Tsai Ing-wen also came to accompany the flight to greet them, and dropped hot flame bombs in the air to celebrate.

After arriving at the airport, the staff of the Taiwan Sports Department and the Olympic Committee pulled up a banner “Working together towards victory”.

A large number of enthusiastic fans cheered and greeted Li Yang, Wang Qilin and Dai Ziying.

As of Wednesday, the Chinese Taipei team participating in the Tokyo Olympics has won two gold medals, four silver medals and one bronze medal in badminton, weightlifting, gymnastics and other events.
