John Holland can now make his return to the National Superior Basketball (BSN).
The canastero fulfilled the one-year suspension of participation in the league, which was imposed by the Puerto Rico Basketball Federation (Fbpur) in July 2019, after conditioning his participation in the FIBA World Cup in China 2019 in exchange for financial compensation.

The information was received with approval in the management of the Cariduros de Fajardo – the team to which it maintains the rights to the player – because this determination advances the efforts for Holland to play as soon as this season.
“He anticipates plans to bring John Holland into the ranks of the Cariduros de Fajardo. The plan has always been to bring it. We already have well-advanced conversations for him to play with us this year. It’s a purely Holland decision. Holland was a key player in the Santeros de Aguada championship – now Cariduros de Fajardo with the transfer made this year – with averages of 16.89 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 19 games.
The penalty against the player also included an indefinite suspension from the national basketball team for allegedly requesting an amount of $ 45,000 to play in the 2019 World Cup.
