Dallas quarterback Cowboys, Dak Prescott, had to leave training in Oxnard on Wednesday, in the middle of the first training with the uniforms.
Nick Eatman, from the official Cowboys website, reported Prescott felt a discomfort in his arm and, as a precaution, he went to the locker room to be examined. He didn’t practice passing again after that.
“The team managers did not appear to be very concerned about the injury. They only said that Prescott “felt a little pain in his arm and that he didn’t want to force him by practicing long passes the rest of the day,” Eatman wrote.
According to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, Prescott suffered a strain, which generated that ailment in the arm. The newspaper also reported that the quarterback, valued at $ 160 million, felt the discomfort during the warm-up and decided not to push his luck, confirming that his absence was “pure precaution.”
Prescott is expected to discuss his condition after training. “There is no concern for now. It continues to be evaluated ”, tweeted Michael Gehlken, del Dallas Morning News.
Gehlken added: “Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott doesn’t seem to be worried at all after studying his arm after feeling pain. Prescott was scheduled to be interviewed on TV. That has not been modified. The situation did not warrant a change of plans ”.
Dak is going to play in the preseason
That there is great concern about a slight “injury” does not surprise Dak, as he is coming back from a terrible injury to his right ankle, from which he has now fully recovered. The website of the team even admitted: “When Dak stopped training on Wednesday, the first thing that was believed was that he injured his ankle again.
Luckily, Prescott’s double-operated ankle has not had any problems after five days of training. As long as this continues, the two-time pro-bowler will be able to play in preseason games, which he is looking forward to.

Prescott’s understudies weren’t up to the task in his place
Like last season, all the backup quarterbacks were not up to the task – to say the least – when it came to playing for Prescott. Garrett Gilbert trained with the starters after Prescott left training, while Cooper Rush and Ben DiNucci trained with the backups.
Together they added five interceptions in a day in which the defense took advantage of the offense. Linebacker Micah Parsons, cornerbacks Maurice Canady and Anthony Brown, and safety Darian Thompson intercepted the passes.
