Club Naco recognizes Juan Chalas for 45 years of experience in judo | AlMomento.Net

The recognition of Juan Chalas.

SANTO DOMINGO.- The Board of Directors of the Naco Sports Club and the Judo Parents Association paid a tribute to the immortal Juan Chalas, on the 50th anniversary of having started his career in that sport, as well as his 45 years as head coach of the Club Popcorn.

Likewise, the Dominican Judo Federation, chaired by Gilberto García, gave him the certification of “8th dan belt”, the highest distinction in that sport.

The president of the Naco Club, Luis Miguel Pou, praised the moral and sports qualities of the immortal of the sport, Juan Chalas, who is a beacon of light in the sports entity, with an impeccable career for more than four decades giving practices.

“Thousands of young people who today are professionals in various branches of national life have passed through the hands of Professor Juan Chalas, that is, they not only train high-performance athletes, but also young people who are integral to society,” said Pou.

Indhira Sánchez, president of the Club Naco Judo Parents Association, also valued in its proper dimension the role that coach Juan Chalas has been playing and highlighted that he is seen as a father by all the students, in the different stages.
