Andy Murray persists. He received an invitation from the organizers of the Cincinnati Masters1000 that takes place August 14-22. The other invitation was given to Sebastian Korda.
Andy’s choice is not trivial. After a short break, he wants to test himself to find out if he can be “competitive” at the US Open which starts at the end of August. This is all the more judicious as the playing conditions in Ohio are very close to that of New York.
It will be his 16th participation, the Scotsman has already won the title twice. It was each time by dominating in the final a certain Novak Djokovic (Editor’s note: 2008, 2011)
