All the important dates of the 2018-19 NFL season

Spring training is over, the players are off for a few weeks. And then ? And then it will be gone again for the big toboggan of the NFL season!

On Tuesday night, the NFL released its schedule of key dates for the coming year. Since it’s never too early to think about it, that’s all you shouldn’t miss in 2018-19.

Off-season

July 16: deadline for signing a contract extension to a player placed under franchise tag.

Mid-July : start of training camps.

August 2nd : Hall of Fame Game entre les Ravens et Bears (Canton, Ohio).

2-5 August: Hall of Fame week-end

August 9-13: first week of preseason

August 16-20: second week of preseason

August 23-26: third week of preseason

August 30: last preseason game

September 1st : downsizing to 53 players

September 2: constitution du practice squad

Regular season

September 6: season opener!

October 14: Seahawks – Raiders à Tottenham

October 16-17: fall league and owners meeting

21st of October : Titans – Chargers à Wembley

October 28: Eagles – Jaguars à Wembley

October 30: transfer deadline

November 19: Chiefs – Rams à Mexico

December 30: last regular season game

2019

January 5-6: Wild card week-end

January 12-13: Divisional week-end

January 20: conference finals

January 26: Senior Bowl

January 27: Pro Bowl

February 3: Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta

Offseason 2019

February 26 to March 4: Scouting Combine

5 mars : deadline to apply the Franchise Tag

11-13 mars : negotiation period with free agents

13 mars : start of the signing of the free agency

24-27 mars : league and owners meeting

25-27 avril : Draft NFL à Nashville, Tennessee
