Abraham can deprive Schick of the primacy of the most expensive reinforcement, AS Rome

AS Roma paid 40 million euros for Abraham and with various bonuses the final amount can increase by up to another five million. Schick came to the club four years ago from Sampdoria Genoa for 42 million euros.

Twenty-three-year-old Abraham signed a five-year contract in Rome with an annual income of 4.5 million euros. The agreement with Chelsea also includes the possible return of the six-time English representative to London for 80 million euros. However, not before the summer of 2023.

Abraham was the club’s top scorer last year with 12 competition goals along with Tim Werner. However, since the arrival of coach Thomas Tuchel in the team in January, he has dropped out of the squad.

He came to Rome as a replacement for the experienced Edin Džek. The Bosnian national team left for the championship Inter Milan on Saturday, which brought him after he sold the gunner Romelu Lukak to Chelsea.
