On the second day of activities at the BMW Championship in Maryland, Mexican golfer Abraham Ancer remained within the top 10 with an unfinished round. The actions had to stop when there are still two holes left to finish their course due to lack of light.

The Turk had a round of four under par, for a cumulative 10 down that positioned him provisionally in eighth place, tied with non-Irish Rory McIlroy who could finish.

Ancer is six strokes behind the provisional leader, the American Bryson DeChambeau, who had an impressive round of 12 under par, for a total of minus 16.

Brison did finish his second round and signed a card that included two eagles and eight birdies.

Spanish Jon Rahm and American Patrick Cantlay are DeChambeau’s closest competitors, are just a stroke away. Followed in fourth place by South Korean Sungjae Im and also Spanish Sergio García.

For his part, Carlos Ortiz from Guadalajara was able to finish his second trip to the Owings Mills field, but he was dropped 33 places by a round of two over par that launched him to 52nd place on the table.

Ortiz had a round full of ups and downs, where he started with a bogey on the first flag, he added three birdies in the following holes, but from 13 to 18 he added four more bogeys.

Tomorrow the second round will be resumed, which was unfinished and at the end the actions of the third day of activities will be restarted.
