Wer the Bremen managing director Frank Baumann assumes that the face of the squad will change enormously in the first division relegated. “All in all, I still expect a number of 15 to 20 transfers by August 31,” said Baumann in a video interview published on Saturday as part of the digital season opening.

“Clemens will play an even stronger role in leading the team and the coaching team,” announced Baumann. The ex-professional will sit on the bench next to the new coach Markus Anfang at the games and, together with the coach, will also hold the press conferences before the games. “I’m really looking forward to getting into the day-to-day business of the team and taking on even more responsibility,” said Fritz.
Werder draws in the test against Feyenoord Rotterdam
Meanwhile, Werder scored 3: 3 (2: 2) in their first test match against the Dutch first division team Feyenoord Rotterdam. The team of coach Markus Anfang showed an attractive performance on Saturday on the grounds of the Feyenoord youth academy.
