Such (VNA) – The sports delegation of Vietnam arrived today in the Japanese capital to start its journey in pursuit of achieving a good performance and medals in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
After hours of performing procedures, including testing the COVID-19
with a negative result, the Vietnamese athletes joined the Olympic Village.
Athletes can only travel to training centers and competitions, while sports officials must comply with the registered travel roadmap. During the course of the Olympic event, athletes will be tested daily.
The Vietnamese delegation is made up of 43 members, including 18 athletes, who will compete in the swimming, weightlifting, judo, sports shooting, badminton, boxing, gymnastics, taekwondo, archery, athletics and rowing events./.
