The Belgian Wout van Aert won the final time trial of the Tour de France, 30.8 kilometers, in which, without forcing, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar confirmed his yellow jersey that will be worn for the second time today at the Champs Elysees . The decisive time trial, in which last year he turned the general to take the yellow card at the last moment to his compatriot Primoz Roglic, used it as a walk, settling for the three victories which he has in his pocket.

The victory was won by Van Aert, who flew through the vineyards, to beat by 21 seconds the Dane Kasper Asgreen and 32 to his teammate the Dane Jonas Vingegaard who, in the absence today of the protocol walk through the Champs Elysees, he will finish second on the podium in Paris at 5.20 from the leader. Third will be Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz, who did a modest time trial 2.09 slower than the winner, but enough to confirm his first podium in the Tour, at 7.03 of the winner.
