All the races of the day: the blue hopes focus on swimming, cycling and rowing
After theBordignon silver in weightlifting women and bronzes from Centracchio in judo women and of women’s sword team Italy resumes its hunt for Olympic medals. For Wednesday 28 July the first hopes of the blue expedition are entrusted to boating and al I swim: we start with the four without male, then we move to the tank for the final of the 200 style in which Federica Pellegrini will attempt the feat, followed by Federico Burdisso in the 200 dolphin, from Simona Quadarella in the 1500s style and from 4×200 men style. Great expectations also for the cycling, where the bronze winner in the road test will return to the track in the time trial, Elisa Longo Borghini, but above all the reigning time trial world champion, Filippo Ganna. Debut also for the Italian flag bearer Jessica Rossi, in the qualifiers of the women’s trap.
