TOKYO (JAPAN) – There are many events not to be missed on Saturday 31 July at the Olympics. Ninth day of competition in Tokyo and the blue medal table that says two golds, seven silvers and 11 bronzes, for a total of 20 medals won by our athletes so far. Several Azzurri who will be called into question on this day of competition: from Simone Quadarella, engaged at 3.46 with the 800 freestyle final, to Irma Testa, who at 6.39 will challenge Petecio in the semifinal 57 kg of boxing. Uone hour later the Quadarella Italia awaited in the mixed 4×100 relay that Federica Pellegrini could see in the water. But that’s not all, because at 2.30 the Italian Mauro Nespoli will see it in archery against the Brazilian D’Almeida. Then again Stecchi looks for the qualification in pole vaulting at 2.40 am and 3.45 am Luminosa Bogliolo is engaged in the batteries of the 100 obstacles. Italy men’s basketball will play the qualification against Nigeria at 6.40. At 11.20 the Settebello of Sandro Campagna faces the hosts of Japan. In the afternoon, at 2.45 pm, Paola Egonu and her companions will face off against China.
