This Tuesday, August 3, the first game with fans will be held at the El Campín stadium since the pandemic began. It will be the one that Independiente Santa Fe and Atlético Nacional play for the third date of the BetPlay League.
Since last Monday the reopening of the Bogota stadium was confirmed, with 50% of the total capacity, the expectation of the fans was on the prices of the tickets for that match. As it was expected, the cost of tickets rose compared to the games that were played a year and a half ago. In a statement, the club assured that the increase in ballots will be reflected in the hiring of a couple of players.
The season ticket holders of the albirrojo team will have priority when buying their ticket and that of a companion. However, last year’s subscription will not be used to enter future matches. Absolutely all fans of the ‘león’ team must pay a single ticket for each game.
Then there will be just under 17,000 fans who will be able to attend Campín for the duel against the ‘verdolagas’. The expectation now is if indeed all that amount of fans will want to attend the stadium, taking into account that the Bogota club is one of the last in the standings and the increase in ballots.
Ticket prices for Santa Fe vs. National on August 3
Santa Fe will offer the public three different ticket prices, depending on the location (south, east and west). Compared with the games prior to the pandemic, the cost of a ticket for the South had an increase of about 13,000 pesos. In the case of Oriental, the increase is between 30,000 and 40,000 pesos. Finally, Occidental’s tickets did remain close to their cost a year and a half ago, except in the case of the general western town, which at the beginning of 2020 had a value close to 80,000 pesos.
Here are the ticket prices for the first match with fans in El Campín since the pandemic began:
- South: 45,000 pesos
- Oriental: 80,000 pesos
- Western: 130,000 pesos
