UEMC Real Valladolid will start the LEB Oro 2021/2022 at home and against Covirán Granada. The second division of Spanish basketball will kick off the weekend of October 8 and will end on May 20, also in Pisuerga and against Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma.
The LEB Oro, with 18 teams and a single group, will have a total of 34 regular league games. The first round will end on January 21 and the first derby of the season will take place on the fifth day, since Pucela will host Destino Palencia on October 29. In that month, in fact, a total of five matches will be played with an interweekly match.
The champion of the regular phase will be promoted directly to the Endesa League, while the second promotion will be settled in the playoffs, which will be played by the teams classified between second and ninth place. The quarter-final playoffs will begin on May 26 and the decisive Final Four will take place on June 18 and 19.
Thus, the 2021/2022 season will be the 26th edition of the LEB Oro League, the seventh campaign in the history of UEMC Real Valladolid Baloncesto and the fifth for the Blanquivioleta in the silver category of Spanish basketball.
