The Raptors rookie banned by the NBA!

Shams reports that the Raptors rookie Jalen Harris was banned by the NBA! The reason ? Drug program violation. From his first season in the league, it’s strong! The NBA takes such action for a player who repeatedly tests positive for a drug other than marijuana. Normally this is an automatic two year disqualification, but rookies only get one year suspension. He will have to apply for reinstatement within a year if he wants to return to the NBA.

He played very little with the Canadiens since he played only 13 games, but he showed himself at the end of the season, notably authoring a game with 31 points. He shot 7.4 points at 50% including 47.2% at 3-point, 1.4 rebound and 1.3 pass in 13.2 minutes.

The 22-year-old, 1m96 full-back was drafted in 59th position last year.

OJ May and Tyreke Evans have experienced the same fate recently.
