Even though his football career seems behind him, scandals always seem to be chasing Wayne Rooney. The former striker-turned-coach is making headlines as one of his former partners, Ryan Giggs. If the native of Liverpool will go through the justice box, it is in the skin of a victim.
Indeed, if the tabloids evoke his surname, it is because of a big scandal that has fueled conversations for a few days. Wayne Rooney contacted Manchester Police after finding himself on one of several UK newspapers and social media. On the images, we see him, asleep and in charming company during a night that was a little too drunk. A party in which he participated with friends and scantily clad young women, which started in a night-time establishment (the Chinawhite club in Manchester, editor’s note) before continuing in a hotel room. According to information from Daily Mail, the police opened an investigation after a request from the lawyers of the father of the family. The former football star claimed to have been trapped indicating that the photos had been taken without his knowledge while he was sleeping.
In one photo, which reads “mooney Rooney”, a woman in a thong is seen showing her butt to the camera, seemingly mocking the situation. The snaps emerged shortly after his team’s defeat Derby County in a friendly against Salford City. If nothing sexual has happened, the affair is causing a stir!

In the past, Wayne Rooney suffered some scandals (in the United Kingdom and when he played in the United States, at DC United in Major League Soccer, editor’s note) related to his alcohol consumption, which more than once have almost ended her marriage to Coleen Rooney.
