Last Sunday the first date of the Official Women’s Soccer Tournament, organized by the Olavarra Football League, was played on the Club Atltico Hinojo field. Ferroviario de Hinojo was local, while Blanca Chica’s Tres Hermanos was free at the beginning of the contest.
Ferroviario 1 – Muoz 0
The team of “Cacho” Zalazar managed to surprise from the start and opened the scoring. Just two minutes into the match, Mariela de la Quintana scored the only goal of the match. After ten minutes Geraldine Watson overflows on the left, surpasses Natalia Berho’s mark, goes to the back and when Milagros Berho enters the area she commits a penalty and it is Geraldine herself who assumes the responsibility of kicking that ball. Nicols Avellaneda 0 – Sierra Chica 0
After ten minutes of play there is a very good play by Roco Sosa on the left and when he defines, the crossed ball goes over the goalkeeper’s right post.
