The first players of the East Olympics delegation return to Taiwan. Yang Yongwei and Luo Jialing are in focus | Tokyo | Olympics

[Epoch Times, July 28, 2021]Taiwan’s Too Judo, Taekwondo, Canoe and Weightlifting Team took a flight from Tokyo, Japan to return home today (28th). Yang Yongwei, who won the silver medal in judo, and won the bronze medal in Taekwondo Luo Jialing became the focus.

The Central News Agency reported that the Taiwan Olympic Judo, Taekwondo, Canoe and Weightlifting delegation took a China Airlines flight back from Japan in the afternoon. On the first day of the Eastern Olympics, Yang Yongwei, who won the silver medal in the men’s 60 kg judo class on behalf of Taiwan, and the bronze medalist of Taekwondo Luo Jialing took the same flight and arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at 5:11 pm.

Affected by the COVID-19 (Chinese Communist pneumonia) epidemic, the Central Epidemic Command Center, the Sports Department, the Chinese Olympic Games and other units specially arranged for the return of the Olympic delegation to the country for quarantine projects. The delegation members and staff were separated from the general passengers and disembarked. Special personnel guide through the exclusive quarantine and customs clearance counters to meet the requirements of diversion, courtesy, and epidemic prevention. After the members of the delegation have completed the nucleic acid test (PCR), they boarded the special quarantine vehicle and went to the quarantine hotel to perform the quarantine procedures.
