In the former river colony Enrico Squaglia, in via Pasch, the first archery field in Cordenons was opened by the sports association Compagna Frecce del Noncello. The inauguration in the presence of the mayor, Andrea Delle Vedove, and the councilor with responsibility for sport, Andrea Serio and representatives of the police.
The Frecce del Noncello Company was born in Pordenone in 1992, when a group of friends from other archery experiences decided to found it to promote 3D archery. For years the association has moved to Cordenons; its president is Gianfranco Sartor. Affiliated to Libertas and to the promotion body for industrial corporate sports centers (Csain), the Company has twenty-five members and has as its purpose the practice, dissemination and enhancement of archery in all its specialties and forms in the sports field. and cultural, including through the organization of courses.
“These are objectives that we pursue with sincere respect for nature, the awareness that the bow is the expression of an ancient culture and a healthy playful passion, which are the ideals that inspire the activity of our association which it operates from time on the territory dealing with the promotion and education of the sporting practice of archery with particular attention to young people, inspired by the ideals of sportsmanship and respect for nature ».
With the inauguration of the new Frecce del Noncello field in the municipality of Cordenons, the relationship between sports associations and the local authority is strengthened with a view to continuous and fruitful collaboration. –
