A bad day for Chilean tennis, because Nicolás Jarry (271st in the ATP) was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Challenger by Todi, after falling in three sets to him brazilian Matheus Pucinelli (409°).

Of course, the game started favorable for the national singles player, because he won the first set 6-3. However, the Brazilian woke up, raised his level and stayed with the game after winning with a categorical 6-3 and 6-1.

Despite the fall, the Chilean tennis player continues to add points in the ATP ranking, because he will add 15 units that will allow him to appear in the new update in a position close to 265 °.

With this result, Jarry complicated his options to reach his great goal of the season: to enter the qualy of the US Open, the last Grand Slam of the year, because now he must reach the final at the Tampere Challenger to enter directly. Now, if he reaches the semifinal, he will have to wait for the list to run.
