The 103rd National High School Baseball Championship Kanagawa Tournament was held on the 15th, with 23 games in the second round at 11 stadiums in the prefecture. I have been focusing on the results of baseball while striving to balance my studies, and practiced efficiently with the aim of improving my team strength. However, the effects of the new coronavirus continued for a long time, limiting practice time. In addition, the ground was completely renovated from November last year to March this year, and the practice area was only enough to double the pitching practice area.
When the new team was formed last fall, pitcher Otsuka volunteered to become captain, saying, “I wasn’t the type to pull out aloud, but there were many modest members.” As the predicament continued, eight third-year students who said, “Originally, it was a good grade” (Pitcher Otsuka) were put together, focusing on the batteries of Pitcher Otsuka on the left arm and Catcher Kashibuchi (3rd year). We have built up a defensive team.
