Sports news: Milwaukee Bucks level against Phoenix Suns in NBA final

Stefanie Vögele wins a game on the WTA tour for the first time since the beginning of April. The Aargauerin takes on the American in Lausanne Francesca Di Lorenzo 3: 6, 6: 2, 6: 2 through. For more than three months and since the tournament in Bogota, Vögele (WTA 130) had to wait for a success in the main tableau of a WTA tournament. And because it almost always rains in Lausanne this week, the wait was two days longer. Instead of Monday, the 31-year-old was only able to play her opening game against Di Lorenzo on Wednesday.

In the game, too, Vögele only came along with a delay on tour. She lost the starting set against the American, who was 31 places lower in the ranking, 3: 6, before she turned up and won ten of the last twelve games after 2: 2 in the second set. In the second round there could now be a Swiss duel – if Jil Teichmann (WTA 56) her opening game against the Belgian Maryana Zanevska (WTA 193) wins. (pre / sda)
